Word of Mouth: Artists’ Stories & Inspirations is a literary road show featuring live storytelling and performances from a wide array of artists. In each show, local artists tell powerful and entertaining stories of the people, experiences and events that inspire their art.  Songwriter/musician George Bradford and author Donald Griswold headline each show which features both performances and storytelling.

“By sharing a unique inspirational personal story, an artist can make his or her art more personal and accessible,” Griswold said.  “We all connect through stories.  In every culture, stories are how we share experience and understanding.  Our artists’ stories are moving, funny, challenging, emotional and real. Listening to how they work with their inspiration is a reminder for us all to follow our inspirations.”

“We’ve all got a story to tell,” Bradford said, “and finding an audience is the hardest part.  You don’t have to go through the machine any more, these days.  There are thousands of artists out there doing great work.  We want to help them find their audience through Word of Mouth: Artists’ Stories & Inspirations.”
